Hey there, welcome to my blog! Today I’ll be showing you how to do one of my absolute favourite dishes — Oven Baked Chicken & Potatoes with Honey. 🍗🥔🍯
You can prepare this for lunch or dinner, it is super easy to make, and it tastes amazing!
STEP 1
Wash the potatoes and cut them in round slices — there’s no need to peel the potatoes. Make sure you don’t cut them too thin or too thick (approx. 5mm each slice). 🥔🥔🥔

STEP 2
In a baking dish, create a layer with the onions. Make sure you spread them well. Add the sliced potatoes on top of the onions.
STEP 3
Place the chicken 🍗 on the bed of potatoes, pour 500ml of chicken stock and add honey over the chicken and potatoes. 🐝

STEP 4
Do you really think that’s enough? Add some more honey, and sprinkle some salt and pepper all-over that thang! 🍯🧂
STEP 5
Bake for 45 minutes, then turn the chicken around and season with more salt, pepper & honey 🧂🍯👨🏽🍳 Bake for another 30 – 45 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked, and the potatoes at the top are a bit crispy.
STEP 6
After the food is ready, let it rest for approx. 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy! 🍗🍴

- 6 Medium Potatoes Sliced
- 3-6 Chicken Thighs
- 500 ML Chicken Stock
- Honey

Notes
Everyone eats different portion sizes. You can serve 1 or 2 Chicken Thighs per person depending on the person's appetite.
